MadaTech is always on the move, looking to the future. Large projects currently in the making include the Innovation Center, comprising the Wanger Family Fab Lab - a cutting-edge digital design and fabrication laboratory; and Netrix, the unique Israeli Internet Center, dedicated to the memory of Dr. Gershon Lichtman.
Thanks to a generous contribution from the Gerber Goldschmidt Group, MadaTech is upgrading the ground floor of its historical building for the visitor's benefit and enrichment, and adding a special exhibition for toddlers.
The building's beautiful North Garden will be restored with the assistance of the Jewish National Fund – benefiting the entire city of Haifa.
MadaTech's beneficial activities reach far beyond the Museum itself. Recently a new science museum, initiated by enterprising philanthropist Mark Gelfand, and wholly designed and built by MadaTech, was inaugurated in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
A special science Museum, targeting children hospitalized at the Rambam Medical Center, was also constructed by MadaTech.
Several permanent MadaTech exhibitions are in various stages of planning: Blue and White in Space will focus on space exploration and Israel's space industry, while the Human Brain Exhibition will present the latest research and discoveries in this intriguing area.
