Motion Conversion Device II

Motion Conversion Device II

This device converts rotary motion into back-and forth linear motion. The user turns the crank handle to turn the tooth wheel, and observes how the rod moves back and forth.

Today's vehicle engine pistons operate based on this mechanism, only in reverse: the linear motion is converted into a rotating one.
