Top Day in Sciences for High School Students at Madatech

Taking Part
On Tuesday, Feb. 2nd, 2010, Madatech, Israel National Museum of Science, Technology and Space in Haifa,hosted some hundreds of students from high schools in the Haifa area for a Top Day in sciences. The event was an initiative of Haifa Municipality's Education and Culture Department and The Educational Empowerment Division, in association with Madatech, in which students participated in their choice of various scientific activities at Madatech Education. |

Knowing
This Top Day objective is to give high school students a fresh outlook on science, through experimenting scientific contents, further to providing them with theoretical and implementing tools for studying sciences. Through learning and action, students enhance their knowledge and enrich their scientific and technological literacy. Such an event encourages and nurtures an intelligent choice of science studies as their high school major and unrolls possible opportunities for further sciences academic studies in Israel's leading institutions. |
