Researchers' Night 2012

On Monday, September 24th, 2012, Madatech's doors will open for a night of exciting science exploration.
As a tribute to the Turing Year, events will focus on computer science, robots and encryption.
A Tradition of Science and Fun
Since 2007, Researchers' Night events take place simultaneously across Israel and all around European cities. On this unique evening, museums, academic institutions and science centers offer visitors an exceptional opportunity to peer into the depths of scientific and technological research, within the context of fascinating encounters with researchers and fun scientific activities for the whole family.
The Israeli events are sponsored by the EU, in association with the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology.
2012, The Alan Turing Year, is a centenary celebration of the renowned mathematician's birth, and events on Researchers' Night at Madatech will be linked to his most significant scientific impact: computers and encryption.

Madatech embraces activities that contribute to a better understanding between scientists and the general public. The audience gets the chance to meet and exchange ideas with top researchers in a relaxed atmosphere at Madatech's all new Noble Energy Science Park.

Madatech's exhibitions will be open to the public for free from 5pm to 10pm.
